Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver electrical engineering projects through all phases of design and construction. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader with deep consulting and construction expertise and a proven track record managing complex electrical systems within a design or consulting firm environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering efforts across all project phases including client coordination pre-design services conceptual planning detailed design meetings site visits and overall project management.

Review supervise and approve work prepared by junior electrical engineers prior to final issuance.

Apply in-depth knowledge of consulting and construction practices including plan/spec delivery design-build projects and construction manager-at-risk environments.

Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges such as conflicting design requirements non-standard materials and multi-discipline coordination issues.

Prepare complete electrical construction documents including single-line diagrams layouts sections elevations details technical specifications contract documents cost estimates and schedules.

Support contract bidding construction administration and on-site project management as required.

Electrical equipment including substations switchgear and protective relaying

Electrical system modeling and analysis (Arc Flash Short Circuit and Coordination Studies)

Grounding and lightning protection systems
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.

Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience within a design or consulting firm environment.

Strong leadership communication and project management capabilities.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit; experience with SKM and/or ETAP preferred.
