The position is designed to develop your technical expertise client communication and time management skills all essential for qualifying as a CA(SA).
Key Responsibilities

Assist with processing accounting transactions and monthly reconciliations

Support the preparation of financial statements and working papers

Participate in audit engagements including planning fieldwork and finalisation

Perform audit testing procedures and compile supporting documentation

Assist with tax calculations and the preparation of tax returns

Maintain well-organised client files and comply with internal and SAICA standards

Communicate professionally with clients during information gathering

Support senior team members in managing client work and deadlines
About You

Currently studying towards a SAICA-accredited BCom degree or completed relevant qualification

Strong interest in pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))

Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure

Professional ethical and committed to high standards

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Willing to work overtime when required to meet submission or audit deadlines
