Overview:Join Bureau Veritas a global leader in testing inspection and certification services.
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Inspectorto join our team on an active hotel construction project. This role is critical in ensuring all architectural work meets design specifications building codes and quality standards throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Inspections: Conduct daily and periodic inspections of architectural elements including finishes facades interior partitions and architectural detailing
- Specification Compliance: Verify that all materials workmanship and installations comply with architectural drawings and project specifications
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive inspection reports photographs and maintain detailed records of all QAQC activities
- Code Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable building codes and regulatory requirements
- Coordination: Liaise with contractors architects and project management teams to address deficiencies and non-conformances
- Corrective Actions: Monitor and verify resolution of identified issues and rework items
- Testing & Verification: Witness and document material testing mock-ups and sample approvals as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector or similar QAQC role in construction
- Strong knowledge of architectural materials finishes and installation methods
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with building codes and construction standards
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Physical ability to work on construction sites and access various building levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Hotel or hospitality project experience
- Professional certifications (CCCA AIA or equivalent)
- Experience with QAQC software and digital documentation tools
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices
