Position summary
Department: Anesthesia. Prehabilitation Clinic
The incumbent recognizes the whole of the patient and establishes a collaborative partnership with this whole including the carers of the patient.
The clinical research coordinator - nurse must ensure the smooth running of the clinical studies. He or she must work in collaboration with the members of the team and health care group to take the responsibility of the overall management of patients.

Responsible for delivering nursing care centered on the patient and their carers especially patients needing complex care. The care is based on current data and organisational priorities Conceives evaluates and coordinates the programs needed for the appropriate therapy promotes behaviour change towards health in the patient and their carers in the perioperative period and provides teaching about the perioperative period.

General Duties
Working under the supervision of the clinic director the incumbent will:
Ensure the safety of patients
Carry out the clinical and physical assessment of patients and study participants and completes the patient record appropriately in accordance with the requirements of the protocol when present
Verifies drug compliance and patient records
Collaborate with the members of the medical team to create and coordinate the execution of an optimisation plan
Coordinate the tests required
Maintain and update the concomitant medication patient register list of undesirable events questionnaires and source documents
Coordinate all aspects of the data collection and source documentation with the clinic secretary and
Give different type of injections that require monitoring
Assists participant recruitment for research studies
Carry out any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor which is relevant to the smooth delivery of nursing care and conducting of research studies in the clinic.
High level of fluency in spoken and written French and English with any additional languages considered an asset
Perioperative or critical care nursing experience is an asset.
Status: Temporary full time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. $55692.00 - $103412.40.
Work Shift: 8 am to 4 pm
Work Site: Montreal General Hospital
