Job Summary

The Round Lake Area Park District is hiring lead teachers for our preschool program . This is a seasonal opportunity with up to 25 hours of work per week. The teacher is responsible for organizing and leading activities for our preschool for 2 year old children.

Qualifications and responsibilities:

Associates degree with six credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. Or a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.

You should have experience working with preschool age children.

Ability to develop and implement enriching group activities including but not limited to music art games and early reading skills.

Have the ability to communicate clearly with the children parents and co-workers.

Be responsible for the safety and supervision of the children at all times.

Certification in child first aid and CPR or willing to obtain.

The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Interviews are scheduled to take place during the week of December 15.

The anticipated start date is January 12 2026.
