This position works out of our Casa Grande Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youll Work On

• Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized using approved processes to meet food safety standards.
• Sanitize Equipment and Facilities: Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment as well as food processing areas according to established job standards and SOPs.
• Operate Specialized Equipment: Use tools such as floor scrubbers scissor lifts and other sanitation equipment to perform cleaning tasks effectively.
• Prevent Cross-Contamination: Follow strict procedures to protect products work-in-progress food contact surfaces and packaging during sanitation activities.
• Adhere to SOPs: Comply with all company Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning equipment and facilities.
• Facility Upkeep: Remove trash mop floors as needed clean floor drains and maintain exterior areas requiring attention.
• Complete Documentation: Accurately record all sanitation activities and work orders to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Maintain Sanitation Equipment: Keep all cleaning tools and equipment including floor scrubbers and vacuums in proper working condition.
• Flexibility and Team Support: Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed ensuring smooth operations and shared success.

Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

This rotation provides predictable time off while maximizing full-time hours.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience
