Part-time Adult Education Teacher - ESOL EveningsReports to: Adult Education Manager Qualifications: Degree from an accredited college or Teacher Certification (ABE Licensure preferred) working with Limited English Proficient to the needs of multi-cultural diverse adult to adapt teaching style and techniques to the needs of adult knowledge of Microsoft Office ZOOM Google Classroom/Documents and the integration of technology in the ABE/ESOL to administer required ABE/ESOL assessments (willing to certify) with the College and Career Readiness Standards and the English Language Proficiency Standards for Adult EducationPerformance Responsibilities: learners initial and ongoing functioning a program of study that meets and accommodates student assessment outcomes individual needs interests abilities and a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and plans instruction learning goals clear to students and communicates high expectations and encourages students to transfer learning to their roles as family members workers and citizens. learners in developing an individualized Education & Career Plan or Family Action a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to increase student learning and meaningful assignments for volunteer tutors.
