Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kaiwhakaako - Teaching Fellow to support the legal academics responsible for LAWS212 on a fixed-term part-time this role you willbe responsible forassistingwith the delivery of LAWS212 course content.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver 2 x block of 10 workshops in each of trimester 1 and 2 (on topics set by course coordinators).
  • Mark and provide feedback on 1 x writing exercise in each of trimester 1 and 2.
  • Provide marking assistance for exams/test at the end of each of trimester 1 and 2.
  • Attend all lectures (one stream only) and distribute roll to students each week.
  • Run one hour of office hours during both trimester 1 and 2 and two hours of office hours in the two weeks before each of the two tests and exams.

  • Have an LLB or equivalent.
  • A strong academic record.
  • Relevant professional experience.
