We are hiring a Radiography Services Manager for a Hospital in Galway Ireland.
This role is on a permanent Full-time contract 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic clinical and professional leadership to ensure a high-quality efficient patient-centred radiography service in line with CORU standards.
Oversee the daily management of the radiography department ensuring effective service delivery workflow and staff coordination.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical technical and radiographic developments and promote modern evidence-based practice.
Monitor evaluate and enhance service quality through ongoing audits performance reviews and a robust quality assurance programme.
Develop implement and ensure adherence to operational policies protocols guidelines and professional standards.
Foster strong multidisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration to optimise the service user experience.
Support staff learning and development through training supervision performance management and identification of educational needs.
Ensure compliance with all health safety radiation protection HIQA EPA JCI and GDPR standards addressing incidents and risks appropriately.
Contribute to strategic and financial planning including staff rostering budget control resource allocation and equipment procurement.
Promote a positive inclusive working environment encourage innovation and ensure accurate reporting of departmental activity to management.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years radiography experience
. in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Proven experience in leading a multidisciplinary team
CORU registration
Postgraduate management qualification and/or completion of a relevant management training programme (desirable)
