Position Summary:
The Financial Center Associate 1 is responsible for providing exceptional client service operational and audit excellence while making appropriate referrals. The incumbent is responsible for handling and balancing cash drawer.
This is a part-time position.
This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay.
This position may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
Required Qualifications Competencies and Skills:
- GED or High School diploma
- 6 months experience with cash handling or customer service
- Ability to travel across company footprint as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word Outlook and Teams
- Developed cognitive skills to include Problem Solving Judgement Decision-Making Organization & Planning
- Developed intrapersonal skills to include Ambition Follow-Through Optimism Tenacity
- Developed interpersonal skills to include Communication: Listening Speaking and Writing Resilience & Balance Collaboration Client Focus
- Developed technology skills to include Technical Acumen Knowledge Management
Preferred Qualifications Competencies and Skills:
- Financial institution experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all teller transactions
- Responsible for balancing locating and reconciling discrepancies in cash drawer including end-of-day balancing procedures and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary
- Contribute to the financial centers success by achieving assigned referral goals
- Report to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions
- Provide customer assistance to service accounts and perform related duties as required both in-person and over the phone
- Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports
- Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Consistently exemplify our Core Values of Integrity Community Dependability Excellence Longevity and Accountability
- Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management
- Physical Requirements: primarily sitting with some standing walking lifting and bending
