We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director - Digital Native to join our growing business in Tokyo Japan.
In this pivotal role you will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our existing Digital Native customers. Your primary focus will be on driving overall quota attainment and deepening Databricks adoption within this core account base. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven leader with a strong track record in growing strategic and enterprise relationships and a passion for building lasting partnerships that deliver value to our customers.
The impact you will have:
- Build a team of motivated Account Executives to increase growth in strategic enterprise customers in the Digital Native segment.
- Inspire a culture of teamwork leading with value and achieving desired customer outcomes
- Develop trust-based relationships with customers and partners to ensure Japans long-term success
- Encourage learning and ongoing understanding of technical product details and our future product roadmap
- Lead our Digital Native sales business in Japans growth plans ensure forecast accuracy and ensure a predictable high-growth business.
What we look for:
- 10 years of experience selling complex software deals to the regions recognizable organizations.
- 5 years of experience in people management
- Background in selling usage-based PaaS/SaaS solutions or other Data/AI/ML-related technologies.
- History of exceeding sales quotas in similar high-growth technology companies.
- Success in implementing strategies for both usage-based and booking-based sales revenue models.
- Knowledge of developing the partner ecosystem to help grow strategic territories
- Desire to build a collaborative inspired team culture
