Schedule: Nocturnist Role 5pm-7am rotating schedule with 3 people on team covering 365 days per year. Call: Restricted on site role 1st call with ortho surgeons as 2nd call. Salary and Benefits:RelocationPTO & CME AllocationMalpractice Insurance ()Health/Dental/VisionRetirement (403b)Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650 provider multispecialty group practice that seeks a certified advanced practice provider (PA-C) to manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with the orthopedic trauma surgeon(s). The position includes direct clinical management through utilization of approved protocols and procedures as well as appropriate medical consultation. The APP will work closely with the Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons and other members of the trauma service to evaluate new trauma patients in the Emergency Room to provide direction to hospital personnel regarding patient management issues and to manage inpatient orthopedic fracture patients. This individual will also work in the operating qualified APP will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Candidates must hold a valid controlled substance registration with both the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA and should have past surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital-based Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) is the principal provider of advanced innovative and interdisciplinary trauma and critical care addition SARMC is an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center whose annual trauma volumes exceed 1250 with over 400 patients with an ISS>16. Trauma is predominantly blunt in nature. The trauma surgeons participate in a primary and back-up call panel : Successful completion of an NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level) NCCPA certified PA (PA-C); current medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA; preference given to those with current BCLS ACLS PALS and ATLS.
