Benefis Health System hasa great opportunityfor an Internal Medicine physician to practice Hospital Medicine at our large community academic tertiary trauma referral centerlocatedin Great Falls Montana. Position Details
Nocturnist opportunity (7p-7a) 12hrshifts 7on/7off alongside a nocturnist advanced practice provider (7p-7a) and a physician admitter (11a-9p)
Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult) excludinglast trimesterobstetricalandproviding medical coordination andinpatient managementfor surgicalpatients
Dedicated swing/nocturnist office space next to emergency department with easy access to all areas of the system
Average # of admissions 8-10 per night - notto attend RRTs or codebluesbut may be neededat NP request
Great access to specialists with over 440 providers on our medical staffrepresenting40 specialties including: Neurosurgery CVT Surgery Interventional Radiology Interventional and General Cardiology General Surgery Urology Neurology Nephrology Orthopedics Inpatient Gastroenterology Psychiatry and more!
Epic EMR providing easy access to colleges and specialists dragondictation
No proceduresand no ICU coverage as intensivists are in house 24/7 forconsultation
