Sr. Manager, Warranty

What youll do...

• Ensure adherence to warranty Rules of the Road accounting guidelines and internal controlsgoverning warranty reserves and expenses
• Develop annual business plans and budgets and monthly forecasts ensuring operational alignment and buy-in to warranty projections and forecasts while driving operational warranty cost improvements
• Manage monthly and quarterly warranty close processes and quarterly external benchmarking analysis
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of warranty financials
• Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with senior leaders in our quality organization FCSD finance teams global data and analytics and other business units
• Act as a trusted advisor translating complex technical warranty accounting concepts into clear impactful insights for audiences with varying levels of warranty accounting knowledge.
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing highly engaged team of warranty finance professionals fostering a culture of strong controls continuous improvement innovation and agility

Youll have...

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance consulting or operations with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• 5 years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Even better youll have

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
• Proven experience working closely with executive leadership demonstrating exceptional executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Superior presentation negotiation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and make compelling recommendations to all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with digital finance technologies including AI Robotic Process Automation (RPA) advanced analytics and modern ERP systems
• Understanding of financial regulatory compliance standards pertaining to warranty such as SOX IFRS and GAAP.
• Ability to multi-task change priorities quickly manage competing deadlines and thrive in an evolving environment
