Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Contract

Position Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for operating the Nuclear Medicine Lab performing diagnostic procedures testing and maintaining equipment and educating patients and families about procedures. All responsibilities must be performed in accordance with applicable policies procedures and quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate nuclear medicine equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Conduct routine testing and quality checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Educate patients and families on procedures preparation and safety measures.
Follow departmental protocols and safety standards at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with workflow efficiency.
Required Skills
Education & Certifications
Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Radiologic Technologist License issued by the New York State Department of Health.
BCLS certification (Required).
