Role overview
We are looking for a new Administration Lead to join our Cheshire Oaks site. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week across 5 days including some weekends on a rota basis).
The Administration Lead plays a key role in ensuring that all admin processes are efficient accurate and patient-focused. Leading the admin team (currently a team of 4) day-to-day youll make sure every interaction with our patients is clear concise and correct. Youll maintain patient confidentiality at all times and have a full understanding of patient pathways and appointment processes to ensure a smooth journey.
Youll also oversee team rotas managing sickness absence & staffing levels liaising with senior management reviewing current systems and ways of working to identify any areas of improvement coordinating patient travel be the first port of call for any issues or queries and maintaining databases. Its a varied role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
Were looking for someone who is customer-focused and empathetic able to put patients at ease during what can be a daunting experience.
What skills and experience do I need
- Previous administrative experience in a senior admin or leadership role.
- Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
- Awareness of CQC regulatory standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritise without supervision
- Experience in process improvement
- Competent in Office 365 and comfortable with new systems
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal English
- A team player who supports others when needed
