Required Qualifications
Completed masters degree in communication disorders or a closely related area. Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. Eligibility for unrestricted licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Missouri. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Evidence of successful work as a speech-language pathologist in a clinical setting for at least one year post clinical fellowship.
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of successful work as a speech-language pathologist in a clinical setting for at least five years. Ability to provide clinical instruction to students for a wide variety of client populations. Evidence of or demonstrated potential for mentoring students in transformative learning experiences such as clinical practicum competency-based education study abroad and service-learning. Evidence and/or demonstrated potential for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in undergraduate and graduate students.
