Job Summary

LinkedIns Women in Tech (WIT) program focuses on building an inclusive environment where all individuals have equal opportunities to grow and succeed in technical and leadership roles. We partner across Engineering Talent People Analytics DIBs and Comms to design scalable programs that strengthen community enable growth and inspire change. 

Were looking for a Senior Program Manager 2 (IC5) to partner with the Engineering leadership team to define and drive the next chapter of WIT at LinkedIn. This is a strategic role that blends operational excellence with vision-setting data-driven impact and influence across a complex landscape. 

You will help shape a multi-year vision for WIT define success metrics and bring clarity innovation and inspiration to how we address barriers that disproportionately affect women in technical fields. Youll influence leaders across Engineering and partner organizations driving alignment and creativity to deliver programs that not only execute wellbut make a lasting impact. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Set Strategic Direction: Partner with the WIT leadership team to develop and evolve a multi-year WIT program vision and operating plan aligned with LinkedIns broader Engineering and Inclusion strategies. 
  • Drive Measurable Impact: Define metrics track progress and communicate outcomes that demonstrate WITs organizational and industry impact. 
  • Design & Deliver Scalable Programs: Drive initiatives that build community support leadership development and address barriers for women in tech through scalable repeatable mechanisms. 
  • Influence & Align Stakeholders: Inspire and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners to align priorities unlock resources and navigate complex dynamics to increase program impact. 
  • Thought Leadership: Bring subject matter expertise and curiosity about barriers industry benchmarking and the evolving DEI landscape to shape program strategy and priorities. 
  • Operational Excellence: Build and scale core mechanisms to ensure programs run efficiently and sustain over time. 
  • Own the WIT program budget vendor relationships and external partnerships to maximize program reach and sustainability. 
  • Deliver annual WIT strategic plan quarterly business reviews and leadership-readout materials highlighting progress insights and opportunities 

 


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in program management operations diversity and inclusion talent and/or related discipline. 
  • Professional experience working within engineering organizations or partnering closely with technical teams. 
  • Experience working with HR and /or on talent programs such as early-career talent programs community-building initiatives or leadership development/upskilling programs. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and implementing multi-year program strategies that adapt to evolving organizational or industry priorities. 
  • Understanding of and expertise in identifying and addressing systemic barriers that disproportionately affect women in technical fields. 
  • Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution. 
  • Understanding of the engineering lifecycle technical career frameworks or career progression structures in software organizations. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior program managers interns or ERG leads to build internal capability and continuity. 
  • Background in workforce analytics or program evaluation methodologies. 
  • Ability to leverage industry insights and benchmarking to inform program strategy and priorities. 
  • Proven capability to influence and drive alignment across complex organizational structures without formal authority. 
  • History of navigating dynamic environments and developing creative solutions for data resource or structural challenges to maximize impact. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams and senior leadership. 
  • Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to bring clarity to complex or ambiguous situations.

The pay range for this role is $142000 to $230000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
