Job Summary
Position Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Kansas City MO
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Shifts Available:
Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
On-Call: No mandatory call dedicated call team in place
Salary Range: $34/hr $46/hr
Shift Differentials: $4.00/hr (Nights & Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for an exciting full-time job in Kansas City MO. The OR RN will support surgical specialties including orthopedics trauma cardiovascular procedures and womens health working in a collaborative environment with modern equipment and self-scheduling options.
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care in scrub and circulate roles
Prepare patient and OR for surgery including IVs medications and site verification
Complete time-out briefing and universal protocol steps
Monitor patient stability and respond to complications
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
Participate in workflow improvements and department initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year recent OR RN experience (scrub and circulate required)
Active RN License (Missouri or Compact)
Education: ADN or Nursing Diploma
Certifications: BLS Required within 30 days
Preferred: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
