Position Responsibilities:
Represent the voice of the customer bringing customer feedback to product team to influence feature development and future product roadmap. Provide advanced technical knowledge to the domain to aligned GTM teams to unblock customers largest and most critical business challenges. Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs whitepapers reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit AWS re: Invent etc. Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts solutions and initiatives. Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
Position Requirements:
Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field and eight years of experience in the job offered as a Database Administrator Support Engineer Systems Engineer or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field and twelve years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and eight years of experience. Must have seven years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) design and implementation experience of database-driven applications and infrastructures; and (2) MS SQL Server and PostreSQL implementation operations or solution deployment experience in a business-critical high-availability environment. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) implementation operations or solution deployment on OCI Azure or AWS; (2) hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA data warehouse architect or database developer; (3) working with infrastructure requirements such as Networking Storage and Hardware; (4) implementation and tuning experience of Databases including with Schema Design Query Tuning and Optimization or Data Migration and Integration; and (5) with modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps.
