We have an exciting opportunity for aCriminal JusticeRecovery Coordinatorto join our service in Camden. This role will be based at police custody however it was also be doing outreach in the community with our partners in the Police
Where: Camden
Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Full Time Salary Range: 27861.26 - 32002.35 dependent on experience pro rata for part time houts
Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months from start date
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening assessment and recovery planning and onward referral
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery resilience peer support and self-determination
- Supporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.
- Conduct prison inreach at our local prisons supporting people prior to release and ensuring Continuity of Care
- Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Courts police and probation.
- Promoting carer service user and community involvement
About you:
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have an understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- Be an excellent communicator both verbal and written with proficient IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals agencies and internal/external stakeholders
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
- Desired tohave had previous successful police vetting or clear DBS as it is an essential requirement for the role
