Position Description: Manager of IT Infrastructure

LayerZero Power Systems is seeking a Manager of IT Infrastructure to lead and evolve the companys enterprise IT environment. This role oversees the design implementation and maintenance of all core infrastructure systems including servers networks storage cloud resources and user support systems. You will manage a small high-impact team ensuring that infrastructure is secure reliable scalable and aligned with the needs of the business. The Manager of IT Infrastructure works closely with leadership the Cybersecurity & Disaster Recovery Specialist and other technology teams to ensure that infrastructure supports operational goals while meeting rigorous security and compliance requirements.

Primary Duties:

• Lead the IT infrastructure team setting priorities and providing technical and operational guidance.
• Oversee servers network and storage operations across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage infrastructure capacity planning performance optimization and lifecycle refreshes.
• Ensure high availability across all critical systems.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to align infrastructure with security standards and controls.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships contracts and service agreements.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure services.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of networking virtualization storage and Windows/Linux server environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
• Proven track record managing IT projects and delivering on time and budget.
• Experience in manufacturing or mission-critical infrastructure environments. (Preferred)
• Familiarity with best practices. (Preferred)
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and controls as applied to infrastructure. (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
