Press and Influencer Fleet Specialist

Job Description

Position Summary:
The Press and Influencer Fleet Specialist is responsible for supporting the management and operation of GMs press and influencer vehicle fleet which includes hundreds of Buick Cadillac Chevrolet and GMC vehicles located at offices across the country. This role collaborates with fleet partners to ensure seamless vehicle logistics vehicle readiness and supports various public relations initiatives to enhance the companys image through earned media creator loans press and media events paid placements corporate PR activities and promotional showcases.

What Youll Do (Responsibilities):

• Support the planning and management of the national media and creator vehicle fleet ensuring operational effectiveness efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee day-to-day planning scheduling and deployment of vehicles for media and creator engagements test drives events and corporate activities.
• Operationalize fleet strategies and utilization.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
• Supervise fleet partners to ensure proper maintenance cleaning and readiness to uphold premium presentation and reliability.
• Assist with vehicle procurement and manage service contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Enforce policies regarding fleet usage safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage maintenance and expenses.

Your Skills and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):

• 3-5 years experience in communications public relations or marketing fleet management; bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience in fleet management logistics or event coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Creative team-oriented self-motivated and hardworking with an external perspective and a continuous improvement mindset.
• High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor internal and executive interactions.
• Excellent writing skills for clear concise and creative communication.
• Ability to work within budget constraints and tight timelines.
• Calm and focused under high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to travel and work long hours during events.
