JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for exceptional student education (ESE) students through curriculum lesson plans educational programs and individual education plan development while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal state local regulations.
EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education or related field
- OR
- Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
CERTIFICATES LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS- Valid Florida Educators Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification
- OR
- Valid statement of eligibility
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Participate in Community-Based Instruction and Special Olympics
