Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a patient-centered womens health team in Bronx NY.

This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to practice within a collaborative multi-specialty environment that values evidence-based care patient education and professional growth. The CNM will provide comprehensive womens health services including prenatal intrapartum postpartum and gynecologic care while working closely with OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordinated care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to women during pregnancy labor birth and the postpartum period.

• Conduct routine gynecologic exams family planning and reproductive health counseling.

• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe evidence-based care.

• Diagnose and manage common obstetric and gynecologic conditions.

• Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.

• Educate and counsel patients on preventive health nutrition lactation and newborn care.

• Maintain accurate timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program (MSN or DNP).

• Licensure & Certification:

  • Active or eligible Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in New York.

• Experience: Prior experience in womens health obstetrics or gynecology preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
