Job Summary
Position: School Nurse (RN) Elementary Illinois
Start Date: ASAP through June 2026
Schedule: Full-Time (includes paid 30-minute lunch)
Student Population: Kindergarten5th Grade
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a school district to recruit a dedicated on-site School Nurse to support elementary students in a fast-paced student-centered environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring student health safety and access to learning throughout the school day.
In this position you will deliver daily nursing services aligned with Individual Healthcare Plans administer medications in accordance with physician orders and maintain accurate and compliant student health records including immunization documentation. You will conduct health assessments provide first aid and referrals as needed assist with care for students with medical complexities (including diabetes management and emergency medication administration) and support vision and hearing screenings. Additional responsibilities include escorting medically fragile students during transportation and assisting with licensed nursing procedures as directed.
Working under the direction of the Director of Special Education Health Services you will apply strong clinical judgment adaptability and communication skills to meet the diverse needs of the school community. The ideal candidate is confident working independently collaborative by nature and able to respond quickly and effectively in dynamic situations.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license and a bachelors degree in nursing or a related field. Availability to start immediately is required. This is a fully in-person position and candidates must be able to work on-site for the duration of the assignment.
