GENERAL PURPOSE
The Manager Procurement Compliance and Policy APAC is responsible for Procurement policy and procedures governance compliance and processes to improve Procurement effectiveness and efficiency Procurement related trainings and talent development across APAC. The work scope includes APAC Corporate APAC Field and APAC Global Products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure the procurement function operates in an organized and efficient manner across APAC.
- Develop implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures in alignment with global standards.
- Strengthen internal controls and support governance risk management and audit readiness.
- Ensure on-time responses to various audits from APAC Procurement function and be accountable to deliver Adequate Control result from Procurement function
- Coordinate trade compliance activities to ensure adherence to international and regional regulations.
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Procurement Standard Work practices.
- Lead procurement-related training programs to build capability and ensure policy awareness.
- Act as APAC representative in aligning global policy and procedural changes with regional business needs.
- Other duties assigned by the line manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree or above MBA is a plus
- 8 years or above compliance/audit relevant experience minimum 5 years working experience in MNCs and 2 years as a people manager
- Expertise on procurement governance and controls
- Working knowledge of the legal aspects of procurement and contracting laws
- Working knowledge of the financial aspects of procurement
