KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Continuously fully comply with all GMP and Regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for COEs routine work to produce accurate financial report and to meet specific deadlines monitoring workload and team resource and predicting future trends supervising staff and keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and compliance policy.
- Lead projects to optimization current business flow to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Proposes and implements improvements in accounting and reporting systems along with internal controls to facilitate accurate and timely reporting.
- Assists with ongoing compliance efforts.
- Responsible for providing financial advice and support to clients and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions.
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. other GQO sites to expand COE service scope and improve COE image
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit best people for the team.
- Setting goals expectations and priorities evaluate subordinates performance against those goals and priorities.
- Coaching motivating and developing talents and lead by example
- Lead by example to direct reports.
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
- Extensive experience in financial reporting internal control financial analysis and accounting.
- Strong China & US GAAP knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent PC knowledge
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years post qualification experience in financial accounting
- 3-5 years Supervisory capacity within the finance function
- Working experience with MNC is an advantage
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree or professional qualification in Financial/Management Accounting
- CPA or ACCA is a plus
