Procurement Officer l Full Time
Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our Perth-based this role you will support the Procurement & Logistics Manager in sourcing and managing critical mining consumables and equipment. This is a key position responsible for ensuring timely cost-effective and quality-focused procurement aligned with our operational goals.
About the Role:
- Coordinate the procurement of goods and services in line with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting suppliers based on performance reliability cost and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules effectively.
Experience:
- Proven procurement experience preferably within the mining or industrial sectors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and assess supplier performance.
- Proficiency in Pronto ERP (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Benefits: Full Time 3 to 4 months work with the possibility of extension
38 hours/week Monday to Friday 8am 4pm
