Responsibilities
Play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the firms investment operations.
Maintain accurate records of portfolio data in portfolio management accounting system including daily reconciliation trade affirmation/settlement security setup pricing/account valuation corporate actions system automation data workflow/custom reporting (SSRS).
Liaise with custodians brokers and internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues trade discrepancies or settlement issues.
Open/close client accounts and complete ongoing account maintenance in accordance with internal operational and regulatory processes and procedures.
Assist in maintaining GIPS compliant composites; provide support for periodic production of portfolio/composite performance data portfolio risk statistics (performance attribution etc.) and compliance reporting.
Monitor various reports and client account activity to ensure accuracy and identify any data quality issues.
Identify potential problems immediately and escalate issues to management to seek timely resolution.
Work closely with various internal groups to identify operational inefficiencies and assist with development and implementation of operational workflow improvements.
Participate in systems implementations upgrades and UAT.
Act as liaison between operations portfolio managers and client service teams.
Respond to ad hoc requests related to trades cash flows reconciliations etc.
Meet all firm policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business Finance or related field required.
Confident ability to interact with executive management investment teams trading sales and service teams and vendors.
Experience working with investment operational applications -- investment accounting reconciliation and performance analytics systems (APX Factset Bloomberg experience preferred)
Basic understanding of operational processes and performance measurement concepts (GIPS experience a plus)
Ideal candidate would possess experience with the following systems:
Advent APX Moxy Rules Manager SharePoint SQL and SSRS
Demonstrated understanding of complex investment and portfolio management products including alternative investments a definite plus.
Exceptional verbal and written skills; detail-oriented and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced demanding work environment.
Strong capability to work collegially with various internal partners while maintaining a strong sense of accountability to the role and team.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $55000 - $77000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors such as a candidates qualifications skills and experience.
