About the role
As the Youth Services Co-Ordinator you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Youth services and programmes within the Child & Family Directorate. Youll be at the heart of ensuring our BarnetYouth projects and youth centres and satellite venues operate smoothly safely and efficiently while helping us provide high-quality services for children young people and families across Barnet.
Your responsibilities will include managing lettings and hire enquiries coordinating building operations and health & safety compliance and supporting financial processes for programmes and activities. Youll also lead on marketing and communications for our services maintain accurate administrative records and assist with planning and delivery of borough-wide programmes.
This is a dynamic and varied role requiring excellent organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships with families participants and partner organisations. Youll work closely with programme teams to ensure our services are welcoming inclusive and aligned with Barnets commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
This is a 3 year fixed term contract.
About you
You are highly organised proactive and passionate about making a difference for children young people and families. With experience in administration finance and building management processes you bring a structured and efficient approach to managing operational requirements.
You have strong IT skills including proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms and youre confident in handling data and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work collaboratively with colleagues partners and service users. You understand health & safety and safeguarding requirements and can apply these effectively in a busy multi-site environment.
Flexibility is key youre able to travel across the borough and work evenings or weekends when required. Above all youre committed to delivering high-quality services that support resilience and positive outcomes for children and families.
