Are you ready to take the next step in your electrical career We are on the lookout for a skilled Cable Jointer where youll play a key role in delivering high-quality service to the companys Generation customers.

The role is initially based in the Manawatu region; however Downer Energy NZ operates service and construction contracts at various sites across the country. This role is ideal for someone willing to work away from home and travel around New Zealand for major renewable projects. Applicants should be prepared for both short-term and long-term travel as part of their regular work schedule.

The company covers flights accommodation vehicles and fuel and provides a daily allowance when working at project sites in New Zealand. We have a supportive team culture where we work hard enjoy ourselves look out for each other and gain experience with different skills and projects.

• EWRB Cable Jointer registration/licencerequired

• National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Cable Jointer - High Voltage) Level 4

• A clean class 1 drivers license class 2/4 preferable

• Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe Practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work
