An opportunity has risen for a Customer Services focused individual to join us at Mainfreight Palmerston North Branch.

Being the first point of contact for our customers youre the face of the Mainfreight Palmerston North Branch. Youre the sort of person that when you meet someone who doesnt have a smile you give them one of yours!

Primary duties include but not limited to:

• Respond to internal & external enquiries via email phone and face-to-face
• Depot searches and advising customers of any delivery delays and issues
• Support for the team and ensuring a balance of workload
• Tracking key customers freight to ensure meeting delivery times
• A general bit of everything at times
• Youll be able to tick all these boxes
• Can work comfortably within a tight knitted team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• A strong emphasis on time management and the ability to assess priorities
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Professional conduct & presentation
• Ability to develop and maximize value for our customers and ourselves
