DescriptionSUMMARY
The Director Governance Compliance and Performance Management oversees the management and governance of the BGIS Contract that includes Audit Quality and Performance. To this effect is responsible for the ongoing management of the overall contract including performance change of scope and approval activities; will serve as primary interface and point-of-contact between the client and BGIS to provide relevant client feedback and to support changes governance and resolve service problems. This role will coordinate key SMEs in all functional areas provide guidance on practices processes and management of potential risks.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
People Leadership
Demonstrates strong competent leadership for team members to guide them in reaching their full potential and meeting their objectives which supports achievement of our corporate goals. Specifically these responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Full involvement with recruiting talent
- Provides mentoring coaching and guidance to all team members
- Objectively recommends compensation adjustments
- Manages all aspects of performance
Contract Management
- Be fully familiar with the Agreement
- Be responsible for the ongoing management of the Agreement and deliverables included
- Act as the primary point of contact for BGIS interfacing with the client counterpart
- Meet with the client counterpart - as agreed to by both parties
- Act as a specific point of contact for records management
Governance Meetings
- Prepare for Monthly Departmental Governance Meetings includes attend/chair all Governance related meetings as applicable circulate minutes and follow dispute resolution matrix when necessary and other items of key considerations regarding performance
- Discuss and/or resolve issues that fall into the following categories:
- Agreement concerns and updates
- Items at risk
- Fee related items
- Dispute resolutions
- Service delivery and performance (including audits)
- Items of a contractual nature including interpretation of this agreement
- Manage Client/BGIS records in accordance with the Client policy
- Client Prime for critical process and audit support including BCP Quality Process Improvement Audit Support and Attestation
- Ad hoc reporting as required
- Preparation for major client presentations such as Quarterly Business Review
- Works closely with theReal Estate Inventory function.
Performance/ Service Level
- Prepare review and approve:
- Service Level Changes
- Service Failure Indicators Performance Indicator Initiative Indicator and results
- Performance of the Services and trends
- Requests as documented within the Change Management process
- Strategic initiatives identified
- Any issues of a Security nature
- Participate in negotiations of new services or opportunities to be added to the Agreement
Audit
- Client Prime for critical process and audit support including BCP Quality Process Improvement Audit Support and Attestation.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate between on account resources and BGIS Client 3rd party auditors ensuring flow of information and responsiveness of BGIS to auditor requests.
- Minimum 10 years Real Estate / Property Management experience either in Operations or Procurement.
- Post-secondary education/certification majoring in either law business administration.
- Good negotiation skills are an asset.
- Management experience in either Audit Quality or Finance/Accounting discipline with extensive experience working with contracts and legal terms.
- Excellent Business Acumen - Proficient with budgets and finance.
- Strong experience in Real Estate business.
This is a regular full-time position with a salary range of $108068 - $135085 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidates competencies including but not limited to experience education and performance related to this role.
