Location: Sanford FL

Shifts Available:
Days Rotating Weekends
Nights Rotating Weekends
Salary Range: $31.86 $44.28/hr
Unit: ICU Stepdown 15 Beds
Nurse : Patient Ratio: 3:1 (occasionally 4:1)
Unit Details: True stepdown drips long-term vents
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an ICU Stepdown RN for an exciting full-time opportunity in Sanford FL. The RN will provide high-acuity patient care for individuals requiring advanced monitoring drips and ventilator management in a true stepdown environment while supporting strong patient outcomes in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed assessments and manage individualized care plans
Monitor patient status and intervene for critical changes
Administer drips and manage long-term ventilated patients
Provide patient and family education
Advocate for patient needs within the interdisciplinary team
Ensure accurate and timely documentation
Support clinical quality and safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
1 year recent Acute Care Stepdown ICU RN experience
OR 3 years strong Cardiac PCU/Multisystem PCU
Active Florida RN License (or compact convert within 60 days)
Education: RN Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) within 30 days
ACLS within 6 months
NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days
Shift Incentives
Nights: $4.50
Weekends: $1.50
Sign-On Bonus
Days: $15000
Nights: $20000
