The Year 6 Teacher will analyse assessment data to identify priorities run targeted small-group support and liaise with parents and receiving secondary schools. Working in Slough the Year 6 Teacher will also support moderation reporting and whole-school improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Year 6 lessons that develop fluency reasoning and independent application.
- Design and run booster and revision sessions to close gaps and consolidate learning.
- Use assessment effectively to inform planning and to track cohort and individual progress.
- Coordinate transition arrangements and prepare detailed handover documentation for secondary partners.
- Contribute to moderation reporting and phase leadership work across Slough.

- Qualified teacher with strong upper-KS2 experience and a proven track record in Year 6 outcomes.
- Calm under pressure organised and confident in planning targeted programmes that raise attainment.
