Job Summary
We are delighted to invite applications for a Year 5 Teacher to join our inclusive and nurturing school community in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to make a meaningful impact on the learning and development of Key Stage 2 pupils.

As a Year 5 teacher you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the challenges of upper Key Stage 2 and their transition to Year 6. You will plan and deliver high-quality engaging lessons that inspire curiosity build confidence and support all learners to reach their potential.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to teaching and learning and you will foster positive relationships with pupils parents and the wider school community. Differentiation and inclusion will be key and you will provide targeted support to meet the needs of all learners including those with SEND and EAL.
You will:
Deliver creative engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
Create a nurturing safe and inclusive learning environment
Support pupils academic social and emotional development
Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning
Build strong relationships with pupils families and colleagues
