Responsibilities
- Design and deliver SEMH interventions that improve self-regulation social skills and attendance.
- Work with class teams to embed therapeutic strategies across the school day and across Coventry.
- Liaise with parents mental-health services and the SENCo to coordinate multi-agency support.
- Monitor impact using clear measures maintain accurate records and report to senior leaders.
- Provide coaching for staff on restorative practice de-escalation and wellbeing strategies.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with experience in SEMH provision or with pupils who have social emotional and mental-health needs.
- Confident in designing and evaluating intervention programmes and in multi-agency coordination as an SEMH Provision Teacher.
- Empathetic resilient and able to work sensitively with pupils and families across Coventry.
- Able to commence January 2026 and to attend induction and pre-start briefings before January 2026.
