Job Summary
A forward-thinking secondary school on the outskirts of York is seeking a Psychology & Sociology ECT from September 2026.
- Psychology/Sociology ECT required from September 2026.
- York (Haxby Area) Mainstream Secondary School.
- Seeking an early career humanities specialist to deliver engaging content at KS4 and support the growth of social sciences.
You will deliver content that blends theory investigation and real-world case studies. The role involves supporting learning pathways for students exploring mental health behaviour and society.
Experience & Qualifications
- QTS (or pending) essential.
- Degree in Psychology Sociology or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in applied learning and research skills.
- Ability to differentiate for mixed-ability classrooms.
