Job Summary
Coilcraft Inc. a well-established global organization founded in 1945 specializes in the production of magnetic components including high-performance RF chip inductors power magnetics and filters. Our headquarters are located in Cary Illinois. We are currently seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our custom machine design and build department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Programmable Logical Controls (PLCs) to enhance machine efficiency by reducing cycle times increasing uptime and minimizing operator intervention.
- Design control systems for high-performance automated machinery which involves researching and selecting new components creating panel layouts and schematics programming and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with various systems including PLCs servo systems stepper systems Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) power supplies motion controllers and communication loops.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electronics.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in programming PLCs.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office for documentation.
- CAD experience for schematic documentation.
- Experience with vision systems is a valuable asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
