We are seeking a highly skilledProfessional Services Engineer Vto join our team. This role is critical in designing implementing and supportingpayment systems integrations with a focus oncheck processing cash management and clearing house operations. You will also lead consulting and implementation efforts formiddleware solutionssuch as the NCR Atleos Deposit Consolidator ensuring seamless integration between ATM/ITM terminals and financial institution environments.

What Youll Do

Payment System Integration

Develop configure and maintain payment system solutions including check and cash processing workflows.

Integrate with core banking systems for seamless interoperability.

Support and enhance Check 21 features and image exchange processes.

Implement and maintain Argo plug-in features for transaction processing.

Manage X9.37 file formats and ensure compliance with Federal Reserve clearing house requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve payment processing and clearing issues.

Payment Consolidator Engagement

Design middleware solutions between ATM/ITM terminals and FI environments (Check 21 or hard-post systems).

Lead technical discovery sessions to analyze transactional data flows and design customer-specific solutions.

Collect and configure necessary data elements for consolidator processing.

Apply business logic changes fine-tune configurations and perform rigorous testing.

Deploy servers implement business logic and accommodate special requests (SSO HA DR).

Train customers on environment setup functionality and parameter adjustments.

Participate in end-to-end testing and deliver deployment scripts for ATM/ITM integration.

Provide post-project support and assist with troubleshooting.

Engage in lifecycle management including upgrades and migrations.

Collaboration & Compliance

Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards in all payment system operations.

What Were Looking For

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of Check 21 and image-based check processing.

Experience with Argo plug-in architecture and integration.

Proficiency in X9.37 file formats and clearing house operations.

Knowledge of Fed clearing house processes for checks and cash.

Core banking system integration experience.

Programming & Tools

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python Shell) for automation.

Experience with APIs and middleware for system integration.

Industry Knowledge

Understanding of payment systems ACH and related financial transaction standards.

Compliance awareness for banking and financial regulations.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NCR similar payment platforms.

Prior work with FedLine or other Federal Reserve services.

Knowledge of ISO 20022 and other emerging payment standards.
