In this role you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in emergency settings. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to provide exceptional staffing solutions within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in emergency medicine settings
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Flexible Scheduling:5-10 shifts per month 7p-7a no call shifts
Daily Census:8-21 patients
Annual Volume:10000 patients
8 ED beds
Procedures:Resuscitation intubation (including surgical airways) ventilator management pressor agents sedation and interpreting blood gases
Will work independently on the ER and HM floors
Support Staff:2 RNs LPN respiratory therapist supervising RN
EMR:MedHost
Board certificationrequired
