Job Summary

Job Title: System Administrator (Unix/Linux)

Location: Lisbon Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (2x/3x office days)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a System Administrator with solid experience in Unix/Linux environments for a project in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will manage maintain and automate servers and infrastructure ensuring high availability and reliability.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Manage and maintain RHEL and SLES servers in production and development environments.
Automate system administration tasks using Shell scripting and Ansible.
Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware or KVM.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure system security.
Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and improvements.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

2 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
Experience with RHEL and SLES.
Experience in Shell scripting and automation with Ansible.
Experience with VMware and/or KVM virtualization.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
