Job title:Commercial Policy & Pricing Manager
Commercial Policy & Pricing Manager is a linking pin between Sales Marketing and Finance teams in BGs or Markets driving pricing strategies in BGs or Markets. Custodian of Commercial Policy. On SVAL level: Commercial Policy Business Analyst provides actionable managerial and operational insights derived from the different pricing systems and coordinates price realization / margin improvement initiatives with stakeholders. Commercial Policy Manager Manages the deployment of commercial and pricing policies in assigned Markets as well as coaches Markets in driving initiatives to improve pricing and profitability
Your role:
Support Commercial Policy and Pricing teams daily activities to ensure business continuity
Review pricing strategy implementation and initiates corrective actions where required
Act as a custodian of Commercial Policy and Pricing. i.e. Ensure customer price quotes and contractual terms are negotiated within the Commercial Policy guidelines and a strategic fit to Philips business proper functioning price escalation processes etc.
Establish pricing as the business partner to drive profitable growth; manages links with key stakeholders in marketing (segment product and commercial managers) and country sales and account managers
Coordinate price waterfall and pricing structure updates internally and with customers as part of Market Introduction Process / (target) Price reviews
Design harmonize and implement effective Commercial Policy and Pricing data management processes tools and dashboards
With deep understanding of systems and the sales process drives an improvement roadmap with stakeholders from master data and the commercial functions
Provide granular price and margin visibility for business. i.e. deep-dive reports and recommendations for managerial and operational stakeholders
Analyze pricing and profitability KPIs and act as a consultant towards Business stakeholders to drive continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements
System set up of commercial terms and pricing conditions in SAP
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of pricing strategy commercial policy and profitability improvement
Advanced analytical skills with ability to provide price and margin visibility
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ability to collaborate across functions (Sales Marketing Finance)
Project management and process improvement experience
Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English
