Job Summary
Are you an Accounts Senior looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work within a leading firm of chartered accountants in West Malling
TPF Recruitment is working with a fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in West Malling to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their talented team. As an Accounts Senior you will play a pivotal role in preparing limited company partnership and sole trader accounts Corporation tax computations and returns Vat and management accounts personal and self-assessment returns. Youll work with a variety of software including IRIS Xero Sage QB DEXT Auto-entry and other programs as needed.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
- Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting junior staff members with their work where required
- Dealing with client queries and advisory projects
- Assisting Partners as necessary with existing and new client queries
Requirements
- Suitable applicants for this Senior Accountant role will be any of AAT ACA ACCA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in accountancy practice working within a small or medium firm background and/or Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
- You will be likely operating around Accounts Senior level or similar delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders partnerships and limited company clients across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels. Required Skills:
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
