Our client is delivering a large multi-site infrastructure upgrade and is seeking an experienced Traffic Supervisor to manage traffic operations across several southern project locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of fieldwork coordination and problem-solving while ensuring community safety and smooth site access.
About the Role
You will oversee the implementation of traffic management plans supervise traffic control teams and ensure that all activities align with safety regulatory and project requirements. Working across multiple active sites youll be the key point of contact for traffic-related coordination site inspections and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate traffic management across several construction sites
Supervise traffic controllers and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with traffic plans safety standards and regulations
Conduct routine inspections and identify risks
Work with councils authorities and internal project teams
Resolve on-site traffic issues quickly and effectively
Maintain accurate documentation and incident logs
Contribute to a strong safety culture
Requirements
Experience in traffic management within construction or infrastructure
TMI accreditation and Traffic Controller certification
Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and Australian Standards
Confident communicator and capable supervisor
Organised proactive and safety-minded
White Card and valid drivers licence
Willing to travel between southern project sites

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB or equivalent) and a current Australian practising certificate 24 years post-admission experience in private practice or in-house roles Exposure to major projects commercial contracts infrastructure construction or related industries (desirable) Strong drafting negotiation and analytical skills A practical solutions-focused approach to legal problem-solving Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders Interest in developing further expertise in commercial advisory work and project delivery A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn within a supportive team environment
