Role description:
Arcadis is currently searching for an Entry Level Energy/Mechanical Engineerto support our growing energy group. This position can be based in any location in New York State. The role will help grow and deliver engineering design energy efficiency electrification decarbonization commissioning renewable generation and other clean energy and energy-related projects throughout the U.S. but will be primarily focused in the Northeast U.S.

Key Skills and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and a robust work ethic. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential along with the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be self-motivated dependable and willing to take ownership of tasks with a flexible approach to new assignments and challenges. A solid understanding of engineering concepts related to building and mechanical systems energy efficiency and clean energy technologies is required while knowledge of building control power and lighting systems is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint) is expected and familiarity with AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit is advantageous. Willingness to participate in a combination of office work field assignments and travel is preferred.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Architecture Energy Engineering or a related technical degree with proven work experience.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $49390 - $79023 / per year. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
