Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Primarily serves as a student lab assistant for the Chair of the Science and Math Department
Assist in the preparation and cleaning of the laboratories as requested by the Department Chair and Lab Manager
Set up all equipment and supplies for labs as requested by department instructors
Maintain the Regent Lab Instagram Account
Conduct safety equipment tests
Update the science supply inventory management system
Receiving documenting and organizing all science supplies
Research various topics and information for the Department Chair
Assist with planning department events
Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the School of Undergraduate Studies
Complete at least 4 lab courses
Junior standing
The person accepting this position will be required to take an online safety course for safety certification
