Overview:
We are seeking professional reliable and customer-focused Retail Security Officers to join our team at a high-volume retail location in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe environment providing excellent customer service and responding calmly and effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities:
Monitor store entrances exits and sales floors to maintain a safe and secure environment
Deter theft vandalism and unauthorized activity through professional presence and observation
Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior areas
Assist store management with incident reporting and documentation
Respond to security-related incidents emergencies and safety concerns
Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff
Follow all company policies protocols and post orders
Requirements:
Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred; if held it must be valid and not expired
Prior retail or security experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be dependable punctual and able to work assigned shifts
Must be able to handle situations calmly and responsibly
