CORPORATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

The intern will be supporting Marriotts Consumer Operations team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support strategic planning and pull-through of all Select / Premium / Luxury Brand initiatives and programs relevant to the region.
  • Think creatively and practically to support the development planning and implementation of Brand programming or initiatives.
  • Develop impactful presentations and reports and collaborate with stakeholders and maintain organized documentation.
  • Support key stakeholders on key openings and focus hotels within the Select / Premium/ Luxury brand portfolio.
  • Assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports as required.
  • Produce and distribute team correspondence presentations and other related documents as required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

We are looking for a university student who is passionate committed and keen to establish a career in the Brand Management discipline with the following attributes:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Visibility and general understanding on the implementation and execution of brand management activities and brand operations.
  • Knowledge of Marriott lodging products cultures and brands.
  • Organized detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (namely Excel and PowerPoint Smartsheet and other project management tools would be would be an added advantage).
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of responsibilities
  • Ambitious highly motivated and an ability to thrive in a multi-tasking fast-paced environment and a high degree of accountability.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g. associates customers owners agencies partners.
  • Ability to design and implement tracking systems for documents and spreadsheets.

QUALIFICATION STANDARD

  • Education:
    • Undergraduate in Social Sciences Business Management Economics or Marketing preferred
  • Requirements:
    • Singaporean Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass / work holiday pass
    • Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / uundergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore Australia France Germany Hong Kong Japan New Zealand Switzerland United Kingdom or United States.
    • Prepared to commit to a six months internship
  • Grooming:
    • All employees must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
